Invite your internal team
You want to bring coworkers into APEX and control what each of them can do. Internal users are everyone at your company who isn't an outside partner. You add them from the Administration view, one at a time, with a role that sets their access.
Before you start
- You need to be signed in as a user who can manage users (the owner or an admin).
- Have each person's name and work email ready.
Steps
Open the Administration view from the main navigation, then click the Team & Roles tab.
NOTE

Click Invite teammate. Enter the person's name and email, then pick the role that matches what they'll do:
Role What they can do Administrator Full workspace management, including users and settings Project Manager Manage projects, tasks, schedules, and the team Field Operations On-site work and field documentation on assigned projects Auditor Read-only oversight across the whole workspace Viewer Read-only on the projects you assign The owner seat belongs to the account that signed the company up. You can't hand it out from this form.
Send the invite. The person gets an email with a single-use signup link. They set their own password when they accept. If the email doesn't arrive, the invite panel also shows a copyable single-use link you can hand over directly.
Result
Once the person accepts the invite, they show up on the Team & Roles tab as active. They can sign in with the role you chose.
TIP
Not sure which role to pick? Project Manager covers day-to-day project work; use Field Operations for on-site staff. You can change a role later from the Team & Roles tab.
