How the ApexAV trial works
Every ApexAV workspace starts on the same free 30-day trial. This page describes the trial as published on the ApexAV website and in the Terms of Service: what you get, and the timeline your workspace follows.
Trial length and feature access
- The trial is free and runs 30 days.
- You get full feature access for those 30 days. What you use on day one is what you keep if you convert.
- No sales call is required to start.
- Reminder emails arrive at day 25 and day 28, so the end of the trial is never a cold cutoff.
NOTE
Going deeper: the Terms of Service (section 2.8, Trial Subscriptions) define the trial period as 30 days or another period ApexAV grants, and note that trial subscriptions may be subject to usage limits. Read them at apexavcloud.com/terms.
The trial timeline, stage by stage
| Stage | When | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Signup | Day 0 | Your workspace is created, and a setup wizard walks you through company, location, project, and teammates. |
| Active trial | Days 1 to 30 | Full feature access. Reminder emails at day 25 and day 28. |
| Grace period | Through day 60 | Your workspace becomes read-only and everything in it is preserved. Converting to a paid plan restores write access. |
| Exit | Day 90 | If you walk away, your workspace data is wiped. |
| Backup rotation | By day 120 | Encrypted backups of the deleted workspace rotate out. |
Convert before day 90 and the workspace is yours to keep as a paid tenant, with the same protections and no expiry.
What happens when the ApexAV trial ends
Whether the trial converts to a paid plan automatically
The trial does not silently turn into a paid subscription. Under the Terms of Service, a paid subscription term begins automatically at the end of the trial only if that was stated in your order form or communicated to you in advance. Otherwise, your right to use the platform ends when the trial period ends, and the grace period above applies to your workspace.
Your data during and after the trial
| Your right | How you use it |
|---|---|
| Export | Download your workspace, projects, users, partners, field ops, and locations as structured JSON from Administration, Export Workspace. The audit log exports as CSV. |
| Deletion | Request permanent deletion any time from Settings, Delete Workspace. Trial workspaces are typically deleted within 7 days of the request. |
ApexAV pricing during the beta
ApexAV does not publish pricing numbers yet. Pricing is announced at launch. Beta customers get founding-customer terms, finalized at launch, and no pricing is locked in before you know the platform fits.
The trial and the beta program
Ahead of the August 6, 2026 launch, trial workspaces are created when the ApexAV team approves your beta application; see Get beta access to ApexAV. The trial itself works the same as described above. Beta customers also get a direct line to the team building the platform, so feedback lands on the roadmap instead of a support queue.
