Reschedule a visit with a reason

You need to push a visit and want it handled cleanly. Rescheduling in APEX, instead of emailing the project manager, records why the date moved and sends the new slot back for approval. The reason you pick also shows up in the company's "Why visits slip" view, so both sides can see patterns over time.

Before you start

  • You need to be signed in to the Partner portal with the visit already on the project.
  • Know your new date and time window, and a short reason for the move.

Steps

  1. Open the visit drawer and click ⟲ Reschedule.

  4. Pick the new date and time window, then click Submit.

Result

The visit returns to PROPOSED with your new dates, and your reason lands in the visit's thread. The company approves the new slot from their Field Ops page, and you're back to scheduled.

TIP

Pick the reason that's actually true even when it's your own delay. Honest reasons make the "Why visits slip" view useful for both sides, which is what gets recurring problems fixed.
