Mark a visit on-site, then done
It's the day of the visit and you want to keep the company posted as you work. Marking your visit on-site when you arrive, then done when you finish, gives them a live status and records the outcome. Your notes carry through to the project's recap when it closes.
Before you start
- The visit needs to be SCHEDULED. If it isn't, propose the visit and wait for the company to approve it.
- You'll want to know the outcome before you mark done: did you finish everything, finish part of it, or get blocked?
Steps
Open the visit. Find it on the Onsite tab of your dashboard, or click the visit row inside the project.
When you arrive, click ● Mark on site. The status flips to IN PROGRESS with a timestamp.

When the work is finished, click ✓ Mark done. The outcome picker asks which of these fits:
Outcome When to pick it Done Everything finished, no return needed Partial Some scope finished, a return visit is needed Blocked Couldn't proceed, an outside dependency was missing Add notes. The company sees them on the visit detail, and they roll into the project's recap band when the project closes.
Click Submit. The visit becomes COMPLETED.
Result
Here's the day-of path from arrival to done:
The outcome and notes you record feed the company's reports, including the first-time-fix view, so pick the outcome that matches what actually happened on site.
TIP
Picked Partial or Blocked? You'll likely need to come back. Propose the return visit once you know the new date.
